There's No Such Thing as "Vice Versa"

If there's one thing I hate.... Its when people think men and women can do the same things "vice versa"....... ALL day long when I tweet things about a female or a male doing something a certain way, I get retweeted with the response "and vice versa".... I don't care what anyone else says or thinks... Men and women are not "equal"...We're different... PERIOD... Women, you can't do everything a man does... Give it up! Men, stop starting to do stuff that women do...Like Gossiping... PLEASE! Women, you don't pee standing up and can't get other people pregnant. Men, you don't get a period (lucky you) and you don't carry a baby in your stomach. You two creatures are NOT the same...  Stop comparing two things that aren't in the same category. That's like comparing a truck and a car... You can't say one is better than the other because they serve different purposes...  Same with males and females.... I hate to hear chicks say, "well if men do it, why can't we?" Or "Men do it all the time" ..... OK and???....  YOU can't change the world, so if its set in stone that if a girl fucks a lot of men, she's a hoe.... Then bitch, you a hoe! Don't defend yourself if you want to go against the grain... Just accept it. If you think its ok for you to be with multiple men at the same time because men do it with women, its not... And honestly, its not that its not ok, but no one should know... Its not something that you should try and make a statement about. That's fighting a losing battle... You will NEVER win. There's no such thing as "vice versa" when it comes to us.

Because we're "Ladies"... People expect us to be "Ladies"... Why would you want to be considered anything else trying to do what a man does? Whether its "fair" or not, some things just shouldn't be fought against. For the most part the responsibilities, roles, etiquette etc between men and woman balance each other out...  There's things men DON'T want to do. And there's things women DON'T want to do. So if you want to keep pulling the "vice versa" card, you might as well just be alone since you think you can do everything the opposite sex does.

Chicks should be "happy" that there are different standards between men and women...  According to my TL, its ok for a 27 year old girl to still live at home depending on the circumstances...  But it's not ok for a man. Men have a lot more pressure on them to be "independent" by as young as 18. That's hard... I couldn't imagine having to take care of my own household by 18 years old... I was still wearing Jordans and making $1000 a month at Bloomingdale's. But for men to not be considered  a "bum" or a "Mama's boy" he's expected to hold his own weight from the time he can buy cigarettes. As a female, could you handle the same expectations?

For the most part, it's usually females trying to pull this "equality" card. Females are always screaming about a "double standard"...But "double"  means "duplicate" or "twice as many"... So "duplicate" would mean we have the SAME standard, which we don't so that term doesn't identify it at all... And "twice as many" would mean something like "if a man cheated on you with 20 girls, its ok for you to cheat on him with 10 men"... Uhm... Yea, so "double standard" isn't really the term females need to be using in their defense. So something like "cheating on him, because he cheated on you" is never really going to work out in your favor. The statement you're trying to make will always backfire because that's not in the "description" of a "lady, woman, girlfriend." But, if you want to be a "slide or hoe", then cool.

So the moral of the story is... Pick your sex, study your standards, and know your role.

    1. Where in the Bible does it say that we are all created equal? If you read Genesis the 1st book of the Bible it clearly stated ''Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."-Genesis 3:16 meaning mean and women will never be equal. People always use the double standard to justify their wrong doing.

I definitely agree. Some things are acceptable for women and some for men.

    2. None of these ideals are "nigga made". What's "nigga made" is bitches WANTING to act like niggas. Now, let's be realistic here, the majority of black households since the 1900s have been run by women and because of this the black man isn't viewed as masculine as he should be....thus leading to women wanting to wear the damn pants.

    3. The bible should neva be a topic of discussion wen dealing with "today" if you want to follow what the bible says you will stay home and not work to cater to a man, cover yourself from head to toe etc. As a woman I don't care what any one thinks of me but I wouldn't want to be labeled a "hoe". I don't look down on any female that is just be honest about it.

    4. Your faith and belief system is a completely different conversation. But the Bible does apply to Today, TOMORROW and any day to come. It's doesn't say cater to a man if say be submissive to ur husband. Maybe if the world were perfect and everyone followed the Bible and waited until they were married to have sex it wouldn't be all these problems. But where not and We all Do wrong. But if u don't read it don't go speak about what's in the Bible if youve never read it to know.

  4. I would never wanna sleep with 10 guys b/c men sleep with 10 girls. My thinking would be more like, if I can control myself enough to not be with 10, so can you. For the things within human control (not things like child birth) but things like sex partners men and woman should be equal bc disease don't discriminate. Vice versa was also used often when it came race and where would we be if we all stayed in our racial "roles" Both men and women need to practice SELF RESPECT and SELF CONTROL and people wouldnt be worried as much abt getting even bc me sleeping with 30 men isnt abt what im doing to someone else, im doing that to myself.

    1. I think the point is u DON'T WANT to sleep with that many guys. A lot of men DO want to sleep with a lot of women. Ur not "controlling" your urges - you don't even have them urges.

    2. How do you know that she doesnt want to sleep with that many guys.

You folks swear you know the sexual desires of women.

  6. I am a woman that loves men. Not in the hoe sense but in the sense that I really appreciate the unique differences that make the man. Even the physical parts of our difference reflect our separate natures – men can spread their seed and walk away. Whereas, our bodies spend every minute of its existence preparing to be caretakers – menstrual cycles are just a prep for a baby.
I think that the only women who think they can be similar to men are the women who don’t know men that well. Women who don’t know shit about men. I come from a huge male-dominated family and I know that there are probably more differences between the genders than similarities. I love it tho.

    1. After menopause, is your body still prepping for a baby?

Is it ok to be a "hoe" then

Nah, so this logic is faulty as well.

  7. You ppl will take anything and flip it around. We are equal in the eyes of God...meaning he doesn't look at us differently nor judge us differently....He loves us all the same!!!!

However, I do agree with Cutty. Men are men, women are women. Accept you gender and play your part!!!!!!

  9. I don't think this blog has anything to do with God and the way he judges us I'm just saying. Its about letting a man be a man. More women need to be submissive. No man wants a woman that acts like a man.

    1. Since when don't white women get called hoes? Lol I agree White women are way more "free" with their bodies than Black women but are they more free than the white males? Probably not. And there are plenty of White hoes out in this world

      Delete
    2. I'm just asking out of curiosity...why do you think that is? Why are white women more "free" with their bodies?

      Delete
    3. What does this have to do with anything ? Wait are you white. It sounds to be like you are a black person speaking about something you know nothing about

      Delete
    4. I am black, but I've never talked and/or had a conversation about "white women being more free with their bodies than black women" so no, I wouldn't know. I said I was curious. Don't shoot me.

      Delete
    5. Hmm I never knew why. I've been living with random white girls (college, grad school, roomie) for 8 years and I don't really get it. I think being "hoey" is just less of a big deal to the culture. I'm not even tryna be funny. But its more of a "don't ask, don't tell" casual sex life. So hoes are still normal girls. Black girls become hoes and they hoes. Its all out there and they better be okay with being a hoe cuz everyone knows she's a hoe. My observations at least

      Delete
    6. OK I understand it depends on the person I think there's just as many white hoes as black ones. Some just are just more open about it but the same goes for black girls. I just don't see how this relates to the blog. The whole white and black thing we're talking about men and women here. Not white hoes vs black hoes

  12. remind me again how this became a white hoe/black hoe topic?

  14. Clearly a lot of people took Cuttys post wayyy outta context, bringing God into it… really people. I completely agree with this post and here is why, maybe this will shed some light on what this post was trying to get at, which lots of you clearly missed.

Women and men are biologically equal, but it is a biological fact with social implications and because of this we are unequal. The idea of gender is socially constructed meaning not “given” by nature. Through the socialization process, both men and women are taught the meanings associated with being feminine and masculine. The learning of these gender roles is a lifelong process whereby individuals acquire society’s definition of appropriate and inappropriate gender behaviour. So Cutty is right, conceptions of gender are socially constructed as societal expectations dictate what it means to be male or female. These roles are then reproduced in countless daily interactions.

Most of us are pretty darn good at acting out our appropriate script and conforming. Then there are those that deviate from the norm in the name of wanting to be equal to men, those ladies will simply be known as a “Hoe”. It’s not right, but that’s just the world we live in. men and women will forever be portrayed in a limited and stereotypical fashion. These ideas are ingrained in our social and cultural ideologies, and are therefore difficult to alter.

But more power to anyone that wants to try and redefine what it means to “act like a lady” but know that it carries a high price, UNWIFEABILITY !

  15. Cutty you are 22. And while you think you know a lot, how you generalize shows that you are at an age where you think you know but you got some growing to do. Women do not want to "act like men." This comes from the insecurity of black men feeding that into women's psyche. Women want to be respected for their output. The sexual revolution and women's lib changed a lot in perception of what being a woman means. There are things that change. In the 1800s women couldn't vote. In the 1950's black people could not vote. In the 1970's you wouldn't have been able to write this blog. Women were not able to choose an abortion. Birth control wasn't legal. Alcohol was illegal in the 20's. Things are always changing.

If men want to be respected and want things the way the were. They would step up and marry their kids moms or put more thought into who they have them with. Cause those kids they leave see a woman leading a household. A woman dealing with the pressures of raising a family. Why some boys never learn to grow up and be a man because they had no example.

Men and women can work the same job but a woman will make 70 cents for every dollar he makes. You ok with that just cause it's how it's always been?

A woman that was paid for sexual favors was a prostitute no matter how the "hoe coach" wants to put it together. But that's not how you rationalize it now right.

The photos you tweet and instagram would be porn.

you may understand the tricks of the trade and the cat and mouse game men and women play with each other but leave the worldly issues alone until you get some more real world experience.

I like your tweets, blog and show but shut the fuck up sometimes.

    1. damn this was harsh.. harsh but true.. but in Cutty's own words she thought she was smart at 21 then at 25 she realized she didn't know shit. Whether she believes it or not she really does have some growing up to do even though I believe she is very mature and most times reasonable, this is one of those times where you can tell her age. I'm 30 and believe me I was soooo convinced I knew it all at 25.

    2. "Men and women can work the same job but a woman will make 70 cents for every dollar he makes. You ok with that just cause it's how it's always been?"

      I'm a dude:

First off, most women gravitate towards easy office type jobs. You want to get paid like a man?..... Go work in a coal mine, get a job working on a supertanker (ULCC), or sign up to be a roughneck on a oil rig in the middle of the ocean!

Secondly, for most men, the bulk of their income is used not only to attract women, but it goes to support WOMEN AND CHILDREN! In other words, a man's income not only goes into taking care of himself, but also, it goes into taking care of the women (mom, wife, side GF'S, X wives, step mom) and children in his life and this is why men NEED to earn more money then women.

Lastly, men are VERY generous with their money where as women only spend money on themselves: women hardly ever spend money on men. My last GF (who had money) flat out told me it was not her job to spend money on men.

  17. The problem I have with this is not that it's not the truth...b/c sadly it is.. it is the acceptance of it and the fact that this blog actually endorses that this is ok (as she says study ur gender and know ur role). Women and men both have self control believe it or not. It is women that make it ok for men to think they don't have to exercise that control and that they can do what they want and sleep with as many women as they want and we will just say.. oh they're men that's what they're gender is supposed to do. And this type of thinking in my opinion defends or endorses that behavior. I bet if WE(women as a whole)held men to different standards this double standard would not exist.

  19. There's reality and there's a perfect world - this blog post is about reality. I don't think Cutty is the best writer but I feel like she's learned a lot and is breaking down for a lot of women who are honestly clueless... Appreciate you womanhood and let men appreciate it too. We are NOT the same.

  20. I agree and then I disagree. It's important to hold the opposite sex to the standards that we expect of ourselves. For example, my fiance did not like promiscuous girls, but he wasn't promiscuous either. When I didn't have a car and job in high school, I didn't expect that of my boyfriend. I don't know. I let my man be a man, I can do everything he does, but why should I? I know my worth and so does he. Just as I know his worth. We are equal, but we are also a man and a woman.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't believe that it's downgrading, it's simply enforcing the fact that it's not acceptable for men and women to Do certain things. You can always Do whatever but I took the main point as don't use the excuse that someone else has/can Do it so that it's okay for you to. I don't see where race, feminist or even God came into play here.

  25. I'm a dude (lucky01 from above) and I agree 100% with Cutty's post!

The last part really hit home.... Women have no idea how hard it is to be a man in today's world (except for the few women like Cutty).

Men get no sympathy from society even when we really need it, we are expected to do everything on our own even when we really might need a little help, we have to make x amount of $$ in order to be considered HUMAN and eligible by women, and on top of that, there isn't much comradery or trust within my own gender because at some level we're all in competition with each other.

Women on the other hand, no matter how broke they are can have sex (for free!) whenever they want, a woman can be a lazy weed smoking bum but society will still rush to her aid and will generally have more concern for her, a woman can tongue down another girl and her sexual orientation will never be in question, a grown woman (even with a job) can always rely on a man (or multiple men) to take care of her, and so on and so on.....

So at this point, now that I'm successful, I say f*** it ya'll on YOUR OWN! I'm only going to look out for ME and I tell other young men to do the same. (google marriage strike).
